Stewart Anderson's hopes of reaching the final of the Potters Holidays World Indoor Singles Championship for the second year in a row were dashed today when the young Scot fell at the first hurdle to second-seeded compatriot Paul Foster in the first round of the premier World Bowls Tour event in Norfolk.

Scottish qualifiers Michael Stepney & Andrew Barker extended their giant-killing run in the Potters Holidays World Indoor Pairs Championship when they defeated England's event favourites and defending champions Ian Bond & Andy Thomson to reach the semi-finals of the World Bowls Tour event at Hopton-on-Sea in the English county of Norfolk.
